Our early-age classes are designed to develop balance, coordination & motor skills, to assist their footballing journey, but more broadly to develop rounded sporting ability.
Your child will be encouraged to learn speech, numeracy, colour identification, shape & core communication skills. These skills align with the early learning syllabus to prepare your child for reception & Year 1.

We'll introduce your child to learning in a group environment. Cementing the fundamentals of listening & following instructions; & starting to develop the skills for collaborative play & team work.
At Lions Cubs Football Academy, we take our coaching seriously. All of our coaches are continuously training to increase their knowledge of the beautiful game. Our coaches are trained to a minimum official FA standard. Our coaches regularly attend local FA-facilitated CPD training.
But football is not just about knowledge and experience. First and foremost, football is about fun & inclusivity. Not only do our coaches have great footballing passion, but they are also fantastic at helping children excel within the classes. We carefully select the best individuals, who possess both the qualities of coaching and nurturing.
